Launched in 1995, World World was the premier graphic-based interactive portal to thousands of world government and NGO websites as well as myriad reservoirs of scientific and historical data. For two decades, daily visitors from every online nation included top universities, grade schools, museums, libraries, embassies, consulates, foreign ministries, government officials, and even heads of state. Unfortunately, remaining thoroughly free of both advertisements and sponsorships made it increasingly difficult to regularly update the links and information as the WWW grew exponentially and more governments built more sites for more purposes. Eventually, with the advent of smart phones and the mobile app explosion, it was decided that World World had served its purpose and the time had come to let it go. We are proud to have played any small part in helping to bring the world closer together during the infancy of the Internet and all the kind words received over the years are sincerely appreciated.
